Please read these guidelines and regulations carefully before distributing your music with Core Muzic.
1. General Terms
By registering and uploading content to Core Muzic, you verify that you are the rightful copyright holder or have explicit written permission from all rightsholders to distribute this intellectual property globally.
2. Digital Music Distribution
Core Muzic delivers audio assets and metadata to major music stores on your behalf. You grant Core Muzic a non-exclusive license to format, distribute, license, and monetize the uploaded audio recordings, artwork, and associated metadata.
3. Rights & Copyright Ownership
- You retain 100% ownership and copyrights to all musical works, lyrics, metadata, and artwork uploaded.
- No copyrights are transferred to Core Muzic under this agreement.
- You have the right to request takedowns of any of your distributed tracks at any point via your user dashboard.
4. Content Standards
Uploaded recordings must not contain copyrighted content belonging to third parties (such as unlicensed samples or beats), hate speech, graphic violence, or misleading artist metadata. Any infringement will result in account suspension and deletion of distributed items.
5. Anti-Fraud & Artificial Streaming Policy
Core Muzic enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against artificial streaming and fraud, in accordance with Digital Service Provider (DSP) requirements. Prohibited activities include the use of bots, click farms, scripts, or any third-party services that artificially inflate streams, views, or engagement. If a user is found to be manipulating streams, their releases will be immediately taken down, royalties will be withheld, and the user's account will be permanently banned.
6. Copyright & Takedown Policy (DMCA)
You must hold 100% of the rights to the audio and artwork you upload. Distributing material without the necessary rights or licenses, including unauthorized remixes, bootlegs, or uncleared samples, is strictly prohibited. Core Muzic complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice or a direct platform claim from a DSP regarding your content, it will be removed immediately. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
7. Misleading Metadata & Impersonation Policy
The use of false, deceptive, or misleading information regarding artists, labels, or releases is forbidden. This includes using deceptive track titles, listing popular artists as collaborators when they are not involved, or impersonating established entities to manipulate search algorithms. All metadata must accurately reflect the content of the audio.
8. Content Quality Guidelines
All audio and artwork must meet professional quality standards required by our DSP partners. Audio must be properly mixed and mastered without excessive silence or digital clipping. Artwork must be high resolution, perfectly square, and cannot contain external URLs, social media handles, pricing information, barcodes, or offensive material.
